After stumbling into her own book and becoming a countryside maid, Behania’s only goal is to save enough money, reach the capital, and find a way home. Unfortunately, those plans are ruined when her employer is murdered at the hands of Radeiel Krainu, the novel’s psychotic villain. To save herself, Behania aids Radeiel’s escape and later offers to help him in return for his protection on her journey.
