Chased by debt collectors because of her father’s debts, Okamoto Mizuki hides with her grandmother in a countryside villa owned by a wealthy man. To work there, she has to cut her hair, take her younger brother’s name, Hazuki, and pretend to be a man.
Her quiet life is soon disrupted by Kujo Hayato, the owner’s arrogant son. Bored with the countryside, he keeps Mitsuki close and bullies her for fun. But before he knows it, he starts noticing Mitsuki in a way he never expected—even though she is supposed to be a man.
