Kotoko, a former popular wedding planner, has been living as a full-time housewife since marrying her husband, Ryota.
Kotoko had once quit her job to have a child, but she was unable to conceive, and her mother-in-law put pressure on her, so her days were dull. She asks Ryota if she can return to work, but Ryota, who tends to be abusive, just keeps imposing his own opinions on her and won’t listen to her.
One day, suspicions of infidelity arise about Ryota. The person she had an affair with was the person closest to Kotoko, so it was a surprise.
